Aftercare – Getting the Best Out of Your Rabid Gear

Wash Before First Wear

We recommend washing your garment before first wear. This softens the fibres, relaxes the print area, and locks in the colours so it feels perfect and looks its best from day one.

Washing

Always turn the garment inside out and use cold or low-temperature water, ideally no hotter than 30°C. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or harsh chemicals, as these can damage both the print and the fabric. Keep it with similar colours to prevent any unwanted colour transfer.

Drying

Drying naturally is always the best option to preserve the print and the garment’s shape. If you choose to use a tumble dryer, make sure the heat is kept low to protect the fibres.

Ironing

If ironing is necessary, turn the garment inside out and never iron directly over the printed area. Use a low-to-medium heat setting to avoid any damage to the design.
